I’m a freelance journalist and writer covering health, science, technology and other topics.
At the moment, I’m in the Science, Health and Environmental Reporting Program at New York University and am interning at DeSmog, a climate investigations outlet.
Previously, I worked as a staff reporter for The Press-Enterprise, The San Bernardino Sun and other Southern California News Group papers. I’ve also volunteered with The COVID Tracking Project, interned at The Herald-Dispatch, and have a BA in cognitive science from Occidental College and an MFA in creative writing from Columbia University.
I grew up in West Virginia, lived in California, and am now based in New York City.
