I’m a journalist covering stories about health and science and their intersections with politics and culture.
Currently, I’m in the Science, Health and Environmental Reporting Program at New York University, and am interning at DeSmog, a climate investigations news outlet.
Previously, I worked as a staff reporter for The Press-Enterprise, The San Bernardino Sun and other Southern California News Group papers. I also volunteered with The COVID Tracking Project, interned at The Herald-Dispatch, and have a BA in cognitive science from Occidental College and an MFA in creative writing from Columbia University.
I grew up in West Virginia, lived in California, and am now based in New York City.
